Candidates Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience OR 10 years relevant experience in the operating/improvement of site infrastructure equipment;
Knowledge of site infrastructure equipment
Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance Concepts;
Knowledge of project execution concepts;
Knowledge of regulations regarding the use/disposal/reporting of ozone depleting chemicals.
Working Knowledge of SAP
The primary responsibility of this role, as Site Infrastructure Run Improvement Engineer, is to coordinate and be responsible for the day to day technical reliability activities and initiates, participates in optimization opportunities in their area of responsibility.
Site Infrastructure includes Buildings, HVAC, cathodic protection, non-process area Elevators, roads, yards, fences.
The incumbent will:
. Responsible for the development, implementation, optimization and sustainability of PM, PdM and other Asset Policies in his/her area of responsibility;
. Perform trouble-shooting/failure analysis and support execution of corrective maintenance, according to the targets set-by the Risk Based Work Selection (RBWS) methodology;
. Manage maintenance expense budgets to optimize the use of manpower and material resources;
. Provide basic scope and oversight for Site Infrastructure capital improvement projects;
. Identify and implement asset improvement opportunities such as inter-changeability and standardized design of Site Infrastructure assets;
. Responsible and accountable for daily maintenance to ensure reliability and maintenance cost targets are met and improved;
. Align site infrastructure reliability targets with the business targets of the Business Units;
. Plan, forecast and maintain the small investment budget (SIB) of his/her area and ensure future capital requirements are documented and communicated in accordance with corporate guidelines so that capital funds are available in a timely manner to ensure availability, reliability and improvement of site infrastructure assets;
. Develop and support scope definition (specifications/deliverables) and project feasibility evaluation (CRFOI, NPV, PB) for capital improvements;
. Manage and maintain as-Built plant documentation and safeguard the documentation standards in his/her area;
. Review constructability and ensure smooth commissioning and start-up for all modification and expansion projects in his/her area;
. Responsible for management of change in his/her area;
. Participate in unit safety reviews, provide technical input and assist in project (PHA) development to comply with corporate and governmental safety requirements;
. Become knowledgeable in the existing process/facility technology and evaluate the application of emerging technology to improve unit reliability.
The selected candidate is required to possess the following:
. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience OR 10 years relevant experience in the operating/improvement of site infrastructure equipment;
. Deep and broad knowledge of site infrastructure equipment through expert training and self study;
. Excellent analyzing skills and a structured working style;
. Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance Concepts;
. High level of motivation, social and influencing skills;
. Knowledge of project execution concepts;
. Knowledge of regulations regarding the use/disposal/reporting of ozone depleting chemicals.
