Job Description
Specific responsibilities will include:

*Provides technical support and leadership at a plant operation to optimize
equipment functionality, production capability, operating risk, and
maintenance effectiveness.
*Develops repair practices and procedures.
*May be responsible for line responsibilities or direct supervision.
*May undertake small construction projects.
*Usually responsible for implementation of minor changes (MOC) and may
coordinate budget development.
*Reviews and assesses spare parts levels for managing risk appropriately.
*Provide inspection, evaluation, and troubleshooting of malfunctioning
equipment. Assist maintenance in returning such equipment to full service
as soon as possible and may provide specifications, coordinates, and/or
supervises the overhaul of critical equipment.

Qualifications of the position include:

*Possess a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of two-five
years of experience (10 yrs a plus).
*Have leadership potential.
*Be a self-starter, able to work with little direct oversight.
*Work well in a fast-paced "team" environment.
*Have excellent communication and reporting skills.
*Possess problem solving, trouble-shooting, and diagnostic skills.
*Have excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
SAP experience a plus.
The following additional qualifications would be a plus:

*Experience with economic analysis and justifications.
*Corrosion and materials selection experience.
*Supervisory skills and experience.
*Experience working in a plant environment.
*Vibration Institute or CMVA level 2 or Bently Nevada Machinery Diagnostics
a plus.




Bottom Line

2. 8 + years of experience in Maintenance in a mining or industrial plant
environment.

4. Supervisory skills and experience.
