Project Engineer
Company in the food equipment industry, looking for an experienced
Mechanical Design Engineer.
We are seeking a talented engineer experienced in machine design -
preferably within the food processing and or packaging machine industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Designs customized hardware to meet customers' needs based on
standard processing machine offerings.
. Generates accurate models and detail drawings using Solidworks and
AutoCAD.
. Travels to customer sites to assess project feasibility and to
assist hardware installations.
. Works closely with sales team and with customers to define
requirements.
. Works closely with the shop to assemble and test equipment prior to
shipment.
. Ensures that all projects are completed accurately, on time, and are
clearly documented.
REQUIREMENTS
. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
engineering experience.
. 7+ years of machine design experience.
. Proficiency with Solidworks and 2D cad software.
. Demonstrated ability successfully managing multiple projects.
. An ability to communicate effectively and in detail to all levels
within the organization and to customers both one-on-one and to a group.
. Demonstrated logical thinking and problem solving skills.
. Understanding of mechanisms, materials, pneumatics, and electrical
control systems.
. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements.
