registered Civil Engineer with solid Municipal Water & Wastewater experience
particularly in San Antonio and with SAWS. There is an outside chance that
they would consider relocating someone from out of state if they come from a
similar type of governmental entity. a public works manager for example.

Essential Engineering Functions: Manage and coordinate the work for project
teams on diverse public works and civil engineering projects for public and
private clients. The Senior Project Manager in this position will be
required to have expertise with municipal water and wastewater projects
(Infrastructure). Additional responsibilities will include coordination of
the work of staff engineers, designers/draft persons and sub consultants
throughout the project's execution to include the development of the initial
project design concept, development of a project work plan (including
identification of staffing/resource requirements and the preparation of
project budget and schedule), execution of project design (management of
resources within the constraints of the project budget and schedule) and
providing bid and construction phase engineering service support. Maintain
regular and constructive communication with clientele and project team
members. Lead and Support business development activities. Support the
training and development of technical staff and perform personnel
evaluations. Exhibit initiative and independence throughout the execution of
these job functions.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
. Licensed as a Civil Engineer in the State of Texas.
. A strong San Antonio project resume relating to San Antonio Water
Systems (SAWS)
. Communication skills are a must.

Preferred Experience:
. A minimum of 15 years including 5 years of project/team management
experience on San Antonio Infrastructure projects is mandatory.
. Attention to new business opportunities and client relations as well
as the maintenance of existing client relationships are strongly encouraged
for this position.
. Additionally, experience in the areas of water/wastewater system
evaluation and modeling, wastewater system rehabilitation and
water/wastewater system master planning.
