JOB DESCRIPTION:

Growing software product / consulting firm specializing in health care patient portal solutions for small, medium, and large health care organizations has an immediate need for an architect / designer for their patient portal product. This is a private company that is fast-paced and looking for someone who can be very influential in functional and technical direction of the firm.

What you need:

·          At least 8 years using the full SDLC product life cycle.

·          At least 5 years designing and developing software using C#, .Net, ASP.net.

·          At least 5 years designing and developing relational database driven software.

·          At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams of 3+ developers.

·          Experience building conceptual and detail design documentation.

·          Very detailed oriented personality.

·          Previous experience designing/constructing applications in the health care industry is a plus.

·          Experience in managing and building product upgrade processes.

·          In depth knowledge of AJAX and/or Javascript.

·          Experience object and data modeling.

·          Experience implementing web services.

·          Experience building windows services.

·          Experience using XML / XSL and related standards.

·          Experience with Sharepoint, Telerik, or Dot Net Nuke a plus.

·          Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·          Serve as the hands on principal designer/architect of proprietary .NET health care application.

·          Along with the CTO, be the key driving force Architectural behind the Flagship patient portal product.

·          Ensures that all software projects have used the SDLC process.

·          Develop appropriate documentation for SDLC including analysis and detail design documents.

·          Manages fast paced small team projects to ensure timely delivery of project deliverable.

·          Mentors staff members on best practices in design/development/processes
