GENERAL SUMMARY: Our client, a fast growing Third Party Administrator, is seeking a self-motivated individual to be responsible for identifying sales prospects within assigned territories/industries, and developing a sales strategy for achieving annual sales targets within the Self Funded, Medicaid and Medicare Markets. The sales representative is primarily responsible for establishing long term business relationships with key insurance consultants/brokers within assigned territory. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Execute sales activities to meet sales goals/revenue targets each quarter. · Execute sales activities as outlined in the annual sales and marketing plan. · Develop business relationships and work collaboratively with Medicaid HMO/PSN, Medicare Advantage plans, Direct to Hospitals and/or consultants/brokers whose primary clientele is large public/private employers with 100 or more employees who self-fund their · Responsible for the sales presentation of all new RFPs generated by you. · Resolve all sales inquiries consultants/brokers or prospects that may arise from submitted RFPs; proactively follow-up all RFPs in a timely fashion. · Maintain sales database of all prospective clients; including current status of development. · Complete sold case check list and participate implementation meetings for new group installation with account management, finance and marketing departments. · Collaboratively work with brokers/consultants and employer groups to offer solutions that meet the customers needs, which may include assisting in placing stop loss coverage within each carrier’s underwriting guidelines to ensure solutions meet both the client’s and FSAI’s business objectives. |

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Attend all training assigned by EVP of Sales and Marketing. · Solicit competitive information and submit to EVP of Sales and Marketing for ongoing analysis. · Other duties as assigned by management. · Overnight travel will be required. |

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· College Degree preferred. (but not necessary) · Minimum of 3-5 of sales experience, preferably business to business sales. Group agency, HMO or Managed Care environment with solid health insurance industry knowledge. · Must be licensed as a life and health insurance agent by the State of Florida. · Experience in identifying and successfully selling new business clients. · Strong analytical and mathematical skills with working knowledge of financial principals and the underwriting of stop loss methodology and the ability to identify, resolve and make recommendations on group health benefit related matters. · Demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to influence decisions and build marketplace credibility. · Strong people skills and concept selling skills. · Ability to work with minimal supervision and according to established company policy and procedures. · Professional, business writing skills. · Possession of a valid driver’s license along with proof of current vehicle insurance, with the ability to provide transportation to fulfill job requirements. |
