GENERAL SUMMARY:
 

Maintains, monitors, designs and supports IT and applications with critical  reliability and maximum uptime. Assists in creating and maintaining graphical and text-based documentation and standards.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree (BA, BS, IS, IT, or related field).

EXPERIENCE: 

Under minimal supervision, the Nextgen Practice Management (PM) system administrator is responsible for the management, implementation and day to day operation of the Nextgen Enterprise Practice Management System, it's interfaces to other systems and related information systems.  The Nextgen PM system administrator must strategically design and implement upgrades and interfaces to the Nextgen PM system.  This individual will gain organizational commitment for all system upgrade plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete these plans.  In addition, the Nextgen PM systems administrator provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level and database design.  Must have a strong ability to build relationships with users, managers, and directors.  Strong understanding of outpatient physician office billing processes and workflow is mandatory.
