Job Description

The Implementation Manager coordinates all aspects of the data implementation of the products as defined by the business requirements of the customer. This position will collaborate with the Account Manager and Production Manager to successfully implement the suite of products through training and consulting activities. Responsiblities will include monitoring and guiding data-oriented tasks of client implementation that support and reinforce product integrity and accuracy. Additionally, this position will supervise data analysts responsible for supporting client implementations. The Implementation Manager will also drive the modifications to internal processes and participates in product development of these processes. Further details of the position include -

  • Work with product management, account management, scientists, other departments and customer contacts to develop understanding of clients intended use of company products
  • Participate in client site visit, presenting technical specifications and training users on operation of on-site application
  • Create implementation requirements and establish priorities for implementation
  • Develop project plans and timelines for processes related to implementation
  • Evaluate data integrity and communicate issues to client. 
  • Make recommendations and involve client in decision making regarding progression of implementation.
  • Develop data validation and deliverable documents
  • Educate clients in data requirements, cleanup and reporting output
  • Work in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to anticipate and manage changes to implementation plans
  • Identify and resolve conflicts interfering with successful implementation
  • Maintain relationships with clients to ensure successful implementation
  • In conjunction with technical team, assess implementation problems as they arise and develop solutions
  • Act as client/customer service liaison and single point of data contact during implementation phases and proactively identify and resolve problems
  • Create implementation hand-off to analysts assuming responsibility for newly established client
  • Manage workflow of data analysts and provide support
  • Evaluate analyst performance, including performance reviews, counseling and corrective action plans
  • Provide new analyst training and ongoing training sessions for all analysts
  • Interview and hire new data analysts
  • Regularly report project status, through meetings or other methods, and proactively escalate major business/product issues to appropriate account manager or Client Services Director
  • Provide regular status updates to client services department
  • Create and maintain internal and external application user manuals
  • Act as primary client services contact for data related issues and updates
  • Execute project plan to ensure delivery of results according to quality standards and acceptance criteria
  • Develop standardized plans, checklists, and other documents for use internally or with clients to initiate product implementation discussions
  • Develop plans and training programs that are specific to the customers sites and proficiency levels and tailored to the specific personnel receiving that training.  Execute those plans via web-based training, conference calls, or in person as appropriate. 
  • Resolve client cases within SLA timelines as assigned
  • Regularly assess project status and timeline for adherence
  • Manage the assignments of day-to-day tasks and ensure completion
  • Obtain necessary sign-offs as needed or required by implementation plan
